The Belt/Centerville Girls team finished second at state this year. They had five girls place in the top fifteen at state that no other class could accomplish this year: McKenzie Lencioni 5th, Lea Gondeiro 6th, Kelley McCafferty 9th, Lauren Winder 10th & Meaghan Winder 15th. The Boys team finished 6th at state this year which is the best finish in a long time. One athlete placed in the top fifteen and that was Dustin Hicks 6th. Congrats to both teams.
The girls set a new class C a new Class C Reocrd for most wins in a row with six, finishing ahead of the Centerville team of 1982-1986 with five. Congrats girls. Belt/Centerville has been a co-op for the past ten years since 2002. The girls cross country team have won the State Championship seven times - 2002, 2006-2011.
