Home of the Miners

Welcome to Centerville Schools

Home of the Centerville Miners.
Located on the outskirts of Great Falls are the small towns of Sand Coulee, Tracy, Centerville and Stockett which make up the population of our school.  It may be a rural school, but we have a city mentality towards education.  The current school week consists of four days with school starting at 8:00 and ending at 4:05.

  • Dear Parents, Community Members, & Centerville Staff,

Recently on Tuesday May 24, many of you came to the school expecting to see an elementary awards and have lunch provided to you by the school.  I would just like to apologize to everyone for not having a better plan in place for you and your child(ren).

The elementary awards is a very special time between a teacher and their students.  This event should be shared throughout the whole elementary in the gymnasium for parents, grandparents, and many others to witness.  I do apologize that this event did not happen, and that I will personally make it my full responsibility to provide the students of the Centerville Elementary a day to be recognized for their academic achievements throughout the year.

In addition, I will do a much better job of communicating with the kitchen staff to make sure that there is plenty of food to be served to all who are attending these special events.

Again, I deeply apologize to anyone who was upset or frustrated about the day.  I can only make sure that this will not happen again, and that next year we can all come together to celebrate the wonderful accomplishments our elementary students have at Centerville Public School.

    Michael Taylor

    PreK-12 Principal
