Centerville Junior High Volleyball
Coach Jill Mackey and Coach Chris Hutchins would like to invite you to the volleyball team for the fall 2021 season. The season practices will start August 16th. To start practice, you will need a sports physical and concussion testing. Sports physicals can be completed with the players primary care provider or when the school schedules all the athletes with Benefis Health Systems. We have a copy of the sports physical form that needs to be filled out by the physician. If you would like this, please contact us. Concussion testing times for junior high teams will be posted on the school Facebook page, and are usually towards the end of the summer.
Our volleyball team communicates through an app called BAND. Parents AND players are invited to be part of this group. This group shares important dates related to open gyms, summer camps, practices, and game schedules. If you would like to be part of this group, please contact Coach Jill or Coach Chris, and we will get an invite sent to you.
Please note that we will be trying to have occasional open gyms this summer. We will try to make sure these dates are announced on the school Facebook page, so you can be aware of times and dates if you are not in the BAND app group. Also, the athletic program at Centerville offers an open gym time for weight training. Junior High focuses mainly on form and body weight workouts and is monitored by Coach Steven O’Neil. The open gym for weights will be M-Th 7am – noon.
The school office and Athletic Director are in the process of posting the gym schedule online – this is a work in progress but keep an eye out for it to see if you can get some practice time in the gym for your sport!
Summer volleyball camp organized by Coach Woods will be July 15-17 with 3rd-8th grade being in the morning session, cost TBD as well.

Also, there is now a JH track meet this Friday in Havre starting at 12:30pm at the middle school track.
Thursday, May 20th is the last day of LEAP for the school year.
The National Honor Society Induction ceremony will not be live streamed today. NFHS network is currently down and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. However, the gym is open for anyone to attend.

Amended Notice of Close of Voter Registration
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, due to a recent change in Montana law, late registration for elections
to be held on May 4, 2021 will close at 12:00 PM on May 3, 2021.
The late registration period began on Tuesday, April 6. You may register for the election by
appearing in-person at the Cascade County Election Office, 325 2nd Ave N Room 100, Great Falls,
until noon on May 3, 2021.
